Letters from Becky
I asked Becky to be a regular contributor to my blog this weekend (grad school is time consuming), and she agreed. She told me that what I write is too intellectual, and I need to bring it to the level of the people. So here’s her contribution for the week:

I’ve been in Venice for three days now. It seems as though the only people who want to befriend me are homeless.
I rolled out of bed yesterday and went to the “ Abbits Habbit” café where Anna Paquin and other celebrities have been spotted. I thought if I let my crazy curly hair down, and wore everything that was a brand name, one celeb would def come up to me and ask me to be their best friend. I walked to the beach, and this didn’t happen either. I guess one can say that thus far, my stay here isn’t bringing me much success.
I drove over to Malibu and because everything is so isolated, it became impossible for me to socialize. An hour ago I had no clue what my next step would be. However, I spotted a brown lighter on my friends nighttable and a light bulb went off in my head.
In ten minutes I am going to march back in to Abbits Habbits café, ask to use the bathroom, and come out really excited saying that this came out of me. I’m going to emphasis to everyone present that it’s original color was pink (even though its not).
