A Brie Grows in Brooklyn

"Mabel's not crazy... she's unusual."

I feel like Simon Doonan really sums up the brilliance of reality TV (and the reason why smart people like it) in this Vanity Fair interview, where he says:
“I love shows about misery: my faves are Lockup and Cops, with a dash of Hoarders. They are the contemporary version of reading Dickens or Victor Hugo, minus any happy endings.”
I need to get him into T&T (Toddlers & Tiaras), which is misery with a dash of glitz, and then he can become my GBFF (gay best friend forever). Yeah right, but a girl can dream…can’t she?
