A Brie Grows in Brooklyn

"Mabel's not crazy... she's unusual."

I’m in a profound state of self doubt today, so I can’t write anything. Instead, I’ll post a still from The Discreet Charm of the Bourgeois, the 1972 Luis Buñuel film that I watched the other night, and found to be mostly boring. A social commentary too stewed in the early 1970s. Who gives a shit? From now on, I vow never to watch a mediocre film in French unless it stars Catherine Deneuve.
