A Brie Grows in Brooklyn

"Mabel's not crazy... she's unusual."

“If you have beautiful things to use, it changes the kind of person you are.” —Betty Woodman
This weekend, I found so time to further Brie-ify my new apartment, which meant that I installed my Tord Boontje garland light on a random wall. I think my 22-year-old self was much more enamored by it than my 29-year-old self, but I have to say, lit up in low light, it looks pretty gorgeous.
If you too want to make your apartment look like a Victorian fairy painting, you can buy the garland at the MoMA store.
