A Brie Grows in Brooklyn

"Mabel's not crazy... she's unusual."

If you have some time today, check out my friend Hosanna’s project, "The Open Series." It’s a video series and blog that catalogs the lives of people as they travel around the world. This sounds very “done before,” but it’s not. First of all, because the video is just stunning — a work of art. About five minutes into watching the first one last night, I think I had to lift my jaw. And second of all, because Hosanna is sponsoring people to take a journey to the destination of their choice.
You can actually apply to be one of those people, if you’d like. I’m not sure how, but forward me an email if you’re interested, and I’ll forward it to Hosanna. A first step might be donating to the Kickstarter.
The first girl to be sponsored was named Julia. She’s a photographer in Los Angeles. She traveled to Japan. Watch her story. I swear to you, you’ll be moved.
