Photographer of the Week: Latoya Ruby Frazier
I first noticed her at the Greater New York show at PS1 two years ago, and now she’s getting a ton of buzz at the Biennial. On my run this morning, where I have all of my most brilliant endorphin-fueled thoughts, it occurred to me that maybe one day, she’ll become an icon of early 21st century photography. She hasn’t made enough work yet to prove the theory one way or another, but she’s worth looking into.
